Sophie | Mahomet-Seymour senior photos at Barber Park

A few weeks ago I photographed MSHS senior Abigail, and that very night I received an Instagram DM from Abigail’s best friend Sophie. She asked if I could still fit her in for a senior session this fall. Of course!!

And oh my goodness, what a gorgeous pair of best friends!! Each session was still unique while similar and I love how we were able to pull out Sophie’s personality in her session. Great hair styling and clothing choices are key to a top-notch senior session, and Sophie knocked it out of the park. Her curls were flawless and it’s clear that she has great taste!

We broke her session into 3 parts — downtown Mahomet, the bike path bridge over the Sangamon River behind Monical’s, and Barber Park (which thankfully was dry after flooding the week before!). I really love how Sophie’s hair pops against her outfits, and the differences in colors and textures.

Sophie’s future plans include attending college for special education. She is currently involved in Bulldog Buddies, color guard, winter guard, and does stats for the MSHS baseball team. Best of luck with your future plans, Sophie!
