Senior Styled Shoot at Magnolia Silos | The Reset Conference in Waco, Texas

In September I traveled to Waco, Texas for The Reset Conference. I am on staff for the conference — I do their blogging and help with registration and setup on site. So day 1 was all travel and setup, then days 2 & 3 were filled with keynote speakers and breakout classes. We learn from speakers from all over the country in topics ranging from all things photography to all things small business. I always take a ton of notes and get inspired to refresh and tackle my business in a new way! On the night of day 3, we had a “boots & bling” gala with craft lemonade, Mexican food, line dancing, and Magnolia cupcakes! Day 4 was a separate add-on day where attendees can sign up for styled shoots and mentorships. I signed up for 2 — a couples session and a senior session.

This senior session was EVERYTHING! I came away from it so inspired. Our model Hannah traveled from Ohio to get some photos from our styled shoot leader Elisabeth Anne Photography, also from Ohio. Elisabeth arranged for Hannah’s hair and makeup to be done in Waco, and then styled her in this amazing pink and white outfit, featuring this killer pink fringe leather jacket and pink hat. Hannah looked flawless so she made our jobs easy. I love so many of the images I got from this shoot and look forward to my upcoming senior sessions back here in Illinois!
