Ali + Matt | Friday Wedding at The Venue CU
Mere blocks from The Venue CU in downtown Champaign is where Ali + Matt met for the first time on a blind date. Fitting that they return to the same place where it all began to pledge their lives to one another in front of their families and friends. The couple now lives in California, but they traveled back to Illinois for this special occasion. There were so many personal touches and warmth woven through this wedding, including all the macrame decor that was hand created by Ali herself. Matt’s brother performed the wedding ceremony, and emotional toasts were given over a favorite meal of tacos from El Toro. Following dinner, guests played a lively newlywed game and then danced the night away amid cocktails and local beer selections.
