Rachel + Ryan | Allerton Mansion wedding in Monticello

Rachel has the best laugh and is outgoing. Ryan is softspoken and patient. This perfect pair sealed their union on Saturday at the First Mennonite Church in Urbana (with a beautiful church sanctuary!!), followed by photos and their reception at the Mansion at Allerton Park.

We sent my 2019 wedding season off in style with this gorgeous winter-styled wedding. The day was overcast but not super cold for late November, and I was thrilled with the images we were able to create together! Rachel looked flawless with her hair and makeup by Something You Salon. And Ryan was handsome in his suit from Jos. A Bank.

The sun was starting to set as we arrived at the grounds of Allerton Park following the ceremony but we worked quickly and were able to get some fantastic wedding party images, as well as a ton of great portraits of the couple. Then it was on into the Mansion which is so fun to photograph because of all the white walls and ceiling. I like to think I’m pretty good at lighting, but the ballroom of the mansion makes my job even easier with all the white walls and ceiling!

Congrats to Rachel + Ryan! I am so happy to have been there to photograph your wedding and am leaving this wedding season with #allthefeels!
