Megan + Dan | Pear Tree Estate wedding + reception | Champaign, Illinois
Y'all. I don't ever say y'all, but I'm busting it out because Megan + Dan's left me speechless. You might want to grab a snack and your favorite *ahem* beverage (see what I did there, Megan's dad?!) and settle in to view this blog post because 1) it's a long one and 2) it's awesome from A to Z! You know, I think the heat index was over 100 degrees on Saturday, but I don't even remember how hot it was (except for the fact that our lenses would fog up every time we would go in an out of Pear Tree)! I rarely get to ride the party bus because I need to transport my equipment from one place to the next, but since everything was in one location, I was able to hop on as we went around downtown Champaign doing portraits of the wedding party and Megan + Dan, complete with a stop off at Esquire. Some of my favorite parts of the day were the getting ready photos in the Concorde Room (hello gorgeous light!), the emotion-filled ceremony, the doorway portraits, the highly interactive and entertaining Brat Pack, and Megan + Dan's reactions to my same-day slideshow. Ha! :) Emily and I had such a great time, Megan + Dan, and we wish you nothing but happiness!
