Christina + Kyle | Harley-Davidson engagement photos
Christina + Kyle's wedding was one of the first ones I booked for 2015, so they've had a lot of time to plan both that and their two engagement sessions. Yes, TWO! :) I remember when we first met about their wedding and they talked about somehow incorporating their motorcycles into a session, and the wheels in my head immediately started turning. I've been looking forward to this one for months now! So we met for the first part of their session in downtown Champaign, where it didn't take too long for the two of them to loosen up in front of my camera. They compliment each other well and were open to anything I suggested. For part two, they suggested I come to their house in the small town of Cisco and we did a few shots there with a cool brick wall (and didn't have to fight with any traffic!). After that, we tried to ride/drive to a state park, but got stopped by some ominous-looking clouds, and I am SO GLAD we stopped. The storm clouds made for an amazing backdrop! We got caught in a bit of rain and then went back out to the interstate exchange where we used the top of the ramp for some elevation. At the end of the session, Kyle had one of his law enforcement buddies pull up behind them with his red and blue flashing lights, which I think turned out super cool as well. Do you have a cool or different idea in mind for your engagement or general portrait session? I'd love to hear about it! Contact Holly to book your session!
