Kelly + Brian | Urbana Country Club wedding
What a day we had Saturday! I started out with the ladies at Kelly's family's home in Champaign, while my second photographer Libby met the guys at the Hyatt Place in downtown. Everyone was mostly relaxed, while Kelly added a bit of finishing touches to her vows. Once everyone was ready, we headed to the church where we finished as many portraits as we could without the bride and groom seeing each other beforehand. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, and I loved the moments where Brian + Kelly's caught each other's eyes, and when Kelly had to look to the sky during her vows to keep from crying -- so, so sweet! Following an exuberant bubble exit, the wedding party was whisked to the Urbana Country Club by a yellow school bus -- fitting since Kelly is a teacher! We spent some, let's say "warm" time on the golf course and then into the comfort and style of the newly renovated Urbana Country Club for the reception. I loved Kelly + Brian's first dance (despite her train getting in the way a few times!), and the way they moved effortlessly around the room greeting all of their guests. I was able to sneak them outside a couple times later in the evening for a couple sunset shots and fun with colored flash gels. Congrats, Kelly + Brian!
