Joy + Stephen | First Baptist Church of Savoy + Regent Ballroom wedding
Joy + Stephen had a lovely, lovely wedding day. There was a chance of rain, but no one seemed phased by it, and it ended up not hardly sprinkling a drop on us! Joy + Stephen opted to do a First Look at the church (which has one pretty yellow hallway with some awesome skylights), followed by an ample amount of portrait time at the UI Arboretum. Their wedding party was super cooperative, and Joy + Stephen didn't skip a beat any time I asked them to pose a certain way or lie down in the grass. They happily obliged and made me a super happy photographer! Joy's bouquet was unique with the succulents to add a sort of bluish tint to her flowers, which I thought was a great touch by Brittany at the Blossom Basket. The reception was at the always accommodating Regent Ballroom, where it is always a pleasure to photograph receptions. Joy + Stephen's guests filled the dance floor early, and gave me a bunch of opportunities for fun candid images! Congrats, Stephen + Joy!
