Jillian + David | Decatur Club wedding | 1920s themed wedding
Every once in a while, it's nice to be the second photographer for a wedding. Besides the fact that it's slightly more relaxing (don't have to stress as much about the must-have shots!), it's also nice to be able to focus more on getting candid shots and behind-the-scenes images. I loved just staying in the background at David + Jillian's big day in Decatur, as I was the second shooter for my good friend Kellie of Across the Miles Photography. Kellie also sent me to the Decatur Club early so I could get some decor images before the guests arrived. What a beautiful setup!! The black, white and gold roaring 20's theme was very cool and executed to a T. I had such a great time! Another fun note: Jillian + David's engagement photo by Kellie was featured in The Knot Chicago next to my photo of Kevin + Brent! How cool is that?? So glad Kellie and I could share this special accomplishment together. :)
