Erin | University of Illinois graduation weekend photos

Two weekends ago would’ve been the huge commencement weekend at U of I. But even though Erin didn’t get to walk across, she wanted to commemorate her graduation from the College of Business with a photo shoot.

She picked out a few locations, and with many less people on campus, and lots more parking spots (!), we were able to hit all 4 spots she wanted! We started out behind the Business Instructional Facility where she spent a lot of her college years. The second stop was Memorial Stadium and Grange Grove with the Giant “I” and the football columns in the background. Erin’s cap, gown, and stole looked so sharp!

Then it was time to break out the bubbly! Erin and her twin sister brought a bottle of champagne to shake up and celebrate! SO FUN!!!

Then we moved onto the Quad for some shots at the Foellinger steps and with the Union in the background. I love the new steps at Foellinger — the crisp gray and sharp lines are stunning!

Our final stop was at the Alma Mater, where we only had to wait for two people in line ahead of us! That never happens on graduation weekend! Erin had saved the 2nd champagne bottle for this spot and we celebrated again with another champagne shower. It was such a fun shoot, and I am so glad Erin asked me to document her graduation. Congrats, Erin!!
