Wells & Wells | Midwest building company photos

Last year I had the opportunity to photograph several building projects for Wells & Wells, a building company based in Champaign, and also Lexington, KY. The Lexington portion of this project can only be described as divine intervention. I was photographing one of the apartment buildings on campus in Champaign, when the project manager told me that they also had a couple of projects going in Lexington. A cartoon light bulb immediately appeared over my head!

Well, it just so happens that the national photography conference that I work for (I run the blog for conference leaders Kellie + Rebekah) is going to be in Lexington in March of 2020. I knew the ladies would be making a trip there in the near future, so I checked with all parties involved and made it happen! I got a free ride there with the Reset team, and got paid for a couple hours of work to cover my other expenses. It worked out better than I ever could have imagined!

Wells & Wells also sent me up to Romeoville one morning last summer, and the bonus of that one was that I got to hit up the Bolingbrook Ikea afterward and get us some new dressers and nightstands. And 300 straws… because Ikea. ;)
