Surprise proposal for teacher at elementary school

Cole was ready to propose to Evin, a 3rd grade teacher in Homer. He planned the best surprise in front of the entire grade school. He knew he needed a ruse to get her in front of everyone without it being suspicious, so the principal announced an assembly to talk about proper mask wearing.

Once in front of the school, one of the teachers had 3 others come up to help demonstrate improper mask wearing. So for Evin, that meant putting her mask over her eyes, giving Cole the perfect chance to come from his hiding spot and up behind her.

She had the best reaction!! I love that she immediately fell to her knees on the floor in disbelief. Then she hopped all over the gym showing off her new ring! It was the sweetest thing!

And Cole didn’t want anyone left out, so he invited both of their sets of parents to witness the event, and then of course all of Evin’s students got to see it in person as well.

It was the sweetest event, and I am so happy I got to be a small part of it. Congrats, Evin + Cole!
