Stephens Family YMCA Corporate Cup Challenge

In May I was asked to cover a couple of events for the YMCA Corporate Cup Challenge. This challenge was a fundraiser featuring lots of local celebrities and sponsoring businesses. The event raised money for YMCA family and individual scholarships for people in our community to be able to use the Y.

This 2-day event was SO FUN! The first night was all contests inside of the Stephens Family YMCA building in southwest Champaign. Activities included 3-on-3 basketball, rock wall climbing, and mini golf (among a few other events that happened while I wasn’t there).

The following day was held outdoors in Grange Grove adjacent to Memorial Stadium. Those events included volleyball, cornhole, and a trivia contest. The planning committee for the Challenge also surprised everyone with a bounce house obstacle course challenge which was super competitive and hilarious!
