Earlier this week I photographed the Illinois Football spring game under the lights at Memorial Stadium. Of course it was the night the cold snap started so I was FREEZING, but it was fun to be back on the field again with some fans in the stands! It’s hard to tell a lot about a team when they are playing themselves, but there were definitely some moments that stand out to me. The final score of the game was a one-handed grab for a touchdown by Luke Ford (see cover photo above, or last photo below).

Overall the night made me really excited for the fall season, which starts Aug. 28 at home against Nebraska. Go Illini!
