I have been doing a TON of headshot sessions lately which has been great for business since I’ve had so many weddings postponed to next year (or indefinitely!). Most of these headshots have been what we photographers call “environmental portraits,” meaning they are taken in on location and not with a backdrop. Usually the location is somewhere that is consistent with the business or person’s brand, their physical location, or their line of work. Sometimes the location is chosen to match a color scheme or theme for the business’s website or social feed.
