She's in Love with a Boy | Ice Cream-themed engagement session

Hey, friend! Let me tell you about this shoot!

Don't you just love when a plan comes together?? I'd had this concept/lightly styled engagement shoot in my head for a while, so I put out a model call. Bethany responded to the post and said that she and Kenneth LOVE ice cream and needed some engagement photos. It just so happens that I witnessed them getting engaged at the Garth Brooks concert in Champaign last year, so I was stoked to have them on board!

Then as I brainstormed some more, I had the idea to make it a "She's in Love with a Boy" inspired shoot based on the Trisha Yearwood song. I'd already set the Tastee Freez/Wienerschnitzel as the location so it made perfect sense! We threw in a chili dog too for a little "Jack & Diane" action from John Mellencamp. ;)

Bethany + Kenneth were amazing models, and I couldn't be happier with these images! I love COLOR in case you couldn't tell! <3
