Sarah + Austin | Mahomet engagement session

I think Sarah + Austin were a tiny bit nervous at the start of their engagement session, but by the end they were pros! And this particular instance just goes to show even more how and why I love doing engagement sessions with my couples prior to the wedding. Even if you don't necessarily need engagement photos, it is great for all of us because it gets you (my brides and grooms!) comfortable in front of my camera and it helps me learn your quirks and photographic tendencies (blinking, half-smiles, etc). I am so looking forward to their July 2011 wedding now!! They told me they couldn't do serious. Pffft. They underestimate me and themselves! :) We took full advantage of the few trees that were turning colors at Lake of the Woods. You guys may not think so, Sarah + Austin, but you are naturals in front of my camera. She is going to make one gorgeous bride. Am I right?! We started to head out to the next stop, but I couldn't pass up these bright red bushes.
