Sarah + Andrew | City Hall elopement in Urbana
Sarah + Andrew had their wedding date on their calendar for months, but they had to wait to make an appointment to be married at the courthouse. So about 6 weeks out, they contacted the Champaign Circuit Court Secretary and got on the schedule for Friday, April 26. Weddings are performed by judges in the 6th Judicial Court in counties around East Central Illinois and can take place Monday-Friday from 11:30-12:30. The costs is $10. You also have to be sure to get your marriage license at the Brookens Center at least 1 day prior to the wedding, and that fee is $75.
Once Sarah + Andrew had their appointment, she let me know and we got the ball rolling for my photography services. To reserve my services for an hour (that 11:30-12:30 time slot), it’s $100, with a balance of $200 due the week before the wedding, and you receive all the digital images via download. Generally I provide courthouse clients with about 100-150 images, with print release. My contracts are all online and easy/quick to fill out and sign, and then pay securely. I try to make it simple for all involved!
If you or someone you know is considering a courthouse wedding, have them contact me to see if we can work together!
