Samantha + Matthew | Lakefront wedding at Lake Sara + Firefly Grill, Effingham

A few weeks ago, I got to spend a beautiful Friday with my good friend Kara from Kara Kamienski Photography, as we photographed a gorgeous wedding on Effingham's Lake Sara with a tent reception at the famed Firefly Grill.  This wedding was one for the books as the groomsmen arrived to the ceremony from across the lake on a boat, and the bride and groom made their grand exit on the boat as well!  The grounds at Firefly Grill laid out the perfect scene with the Endless Summer Band's stage and dance floor nestled in between the tent and the main building.  Cocktail hour was enhanced by light streaming over the water behind the restaurant and through the nearby weeping willow tree.  Cafe bulb lights hung from the tent with long farmhouse tables set as the head table.  The blue wine glasses added a pop of color to the space, along with the blush, white and gray-green florals, and gold table numbers.  I have heard great things about Firefly for years, and I can't wait for the chance to go back again!  Congrats to Samantha & Matthew!!
