Rhiannon + Jorge | COVID Courthouse elopement in Urbana
Rhiannon + Jorge chose to elope at the courthouse in Urbana last week and were eager to share photos with their family and friends. They had told those important to them of their plans and wanted to keep everyone safe by having a ceremony with just the two of them.
The courthouse is pleasantly quiet these days with few people roaming the building and (I believe) only one wedding allowed per day. So that means, if you are hoping to get married at the courthouse anytime soon, call ASAP to make sure you can reserve the date you want.
Rhiannon + Jorge asked me to arrive a few minutes later than usual to the courthouse (normally I am allowed in at 11:30), so they could save the majority of their session time for after the ceremony. Following the short nuptials with the judge, we headed outside to another gorgeous, unseasonably warm November day and took advantage of the sunshine! We trekked all over downtown Urbana and hit some of my favorite spots, creating a ton of beautiful images for the new couple.
Congrats, Rhiannon + Jorge!
