Peaches + Cream themed Tasting Event | Pear Tree Estate
Pear Tree Estate hosting one of their tasting events this week and asked me to come out and photograph the room and details beforehand. I approached it similarly to how I would a wedding, but without any people! :) That part was a little different, but I LOVE photographing details, so it was fun to just get to focus on that and not posing any human subjects. The theme was sort of a "peaches and cream" with loads of peaches in the centerpieces, wine-colored napkins, white tablecloths and ivory lace accents. Greenery perfectly accompanied the peaches at every turn, with plenty of crisp white touches as well to make the colors really pop. I love the outdoor space that Pear Tree Estate has for cocktail hours and outdoor ceremonies, but the addition of an indoor lounge for this tasting was a neat touch -- a cozy seating area coupled with lots of candles and a few places to set your drinks makes this a great idea with unpredictable Illinois weather. The handlettered name cards, place cards and invitations included a neat yellow-orange ombre, white vellum and peach artwork envelope inserts. My favorite part of the entire setup was probably the dessert buffet which consisted of four farmhouse tables grouped together and then masterfully cascaded with all kinds of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, plus other treats, and then nestled in with more greenery, florals, and of course, peaches. I hope the attendees left with great ideas for their weddings, full tummies, and satisfied sweet teeth. :)Florals: Flowers by Kristine Print suite: Dash/Wood Shop Cocktail lounge: Something Old Event Rentals Venue: Pear Tree Estate
