My second shootout at The Reset Conference was a branding shoot with royalty! 😍

Alex Francke is the reigning Miss Kentucky, and Meagan Crews was Miss Louisiana for 2019! Through the Miss America organization, these two have become good friends and Meagan now lives in Louisville so it all worked out perfectly!

They were so gracious to give us a couple hours of their time so us photographers could learn more from Rebekah Albaugh about posing, styling, and the thought process behind personal brand photography.

Both women brought a few of different outfits and accessories for us to work with and we used the gorgeous Campbell House in Lexington as our backdrop. We also picked up a few props here and there — a laptop, a pair of glasses, a notepad & pen, etc to help tell the story we wanted to tell.

Toward the end, I also snapped a few photos of Mattie J, a senior model for an earlier shootout in the day. Mattie loves to model and is so great at it! I just looked for the best light, gave her minimal instructions, and we created some gorgeous images together!
