What a lovely day we had at Allerton Park and Mansion on Saturday, May 16 with Melissa + Tom! Tom doesn't like to have his picture taken, but you'd hardly know it from these photos! My second shooter (Emily) and I were able to capture the couple in a very natural way I think, and I think they look very comfortable in front of my lens! Don't you agree? Melissa and her mother planned this wedding down to the last detail, and their hard work was evident everywhere we turned. The purple hue they chose for the dresses and flowers just popped against the natural backdrop of Allerton's Park and Mansion. A couple of my favorite parts of the day were when Melissa's dad walked her down the aisle, the flower girl playing Legos in the hall, eyeing the radar to dodge small rain showers, and the late-night nacho bar. Yes, you read that right: A NACHO BAR. Melissa + Tom, I hope you love these images as much as I do! There are many more where these came from that I have left to edit!
