Megan + Adam | Wesley UMC + Illini Union Ballroom wedding
Megan + Adam planned such a lovely, heartfelt wedding on the U of I campus. And they planned a large portion of it from all the way on the west coast! I loved some of the personal touches that Megan chose from her necklace to her Toms reception shoes to her dress from Brides for a Cause (such a cool idea!). Adam + Megan brought along a tandem bicycle for a few pictures, and it would only have been better if we could have used it for more photos! One of my other favorite parts of the day was when Adam read a children's book to the groomsmen from the nursery they used as their holding room. Hilarious! Following the ceremony, we had to make a slight detour at Meadowbrook Park, which Megan frequented when she lived in CU, because Strawberry Jam was happening there also. But when life gives you lemons you make lemonade, and I love the portraits and light we found on the other side of the park. Megan + Adam met at the University of Illinois, so it was nice to get out on the Quad with them for some portraits for a bit during the reception. Congrats you two, and best wishes on your marriage!
