Marla + Steve | Backyard tent wedding in Mahomet

Marla + Steve invited their closest friends and immediate families to their backyard in Mahomet for a beautiful intimate tent reception. All their children and grandchildren were in attendance, which made for some fantastic candid moments! And you don’t want to miss the stars of the show — their Best Dog Beau, and Dog of Honor Kitty. Beau and Kitty even had cocktails and mocktails named after them and a special Etsy sign. (Side note: I love that their dog’s name is Kitty — so funny!)

The event was catered by the incomparable Pan & Cake Catering with a gorgeous charcuterie table, passed appetizers, and a family-style dinner. I love every little bit of detail and thought that Marla + Steve put into their special day, down to the custom goodie bags for the kiddos and shawl wraps for the adults (though I don’t think they were needed that very warm evening!).

Congrats again to Marla + Steve and your families! It was a beautiful wedding and I was so happy to be a tiny part of it!
