My Illini-loving heart was in absolute HEAVEN for Maddie + Jacob’s wedding day! While these two didn’t meet on campus, their love for the University and the campus were evident throughout every detail of their wedding day.

We started out the day in front of the stadium where Jacob & his groomsmen arrived in gameday style with their gear and then posed with the Red Grange statue. I then ventured upstairs to the suites where Maddie was getting ready with her bridesmaids.

After a magical first look in the Colonnades, it was on to Green St. for a quick photo op. The couple wanted a few photos in front of Legend’s — a true Illini establishment. The next stop was the Alice Campbell Alumni Center for the bridal party portraits, family pictures, and the ceremony.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when we took some shots on the field at Memorial Stadium. The grandeur of the stadium made for the perfect backdrop, and the couple couldn't have looked happier. They had so much fun posing and tossing a ball around on the turf!

All in all, this gameday-inspired wedding day was an unforgettable experience. As a photographer, it was a privilege to capture the love and happiness of Maddie + Jacob on their special day. From the vibrant colors to the classic poses, it was a joy to be a part of this celebration of love in Champaign.
