Leann + Wes | Hillsboro wedding photographer

Leann and Wes were married on May 22 at St. Agnes Church in Hillsboro, IL with the reception following in at JoDanni's Amore in Benld. It was a gorgeous day, though the hottest day of the year so far and very humid. I met Leann in college where we both lived at 4-H House at the University of Illinois, and I was roommates with her sister Laura, the maid of honor, for two semesters. It was fun to see old friends both in the wedding party and as guests! I was so happy that Wes & Leann chose to do a first look. They opted to get all their photos out of the way prior to the ceremony and it worked out beautifully for the timing on this particular day. We had great light, and it made the day go very smoothly. They both have such great smiles!! The church was one of the brightest I have ever had the privilege of working in. I didn't use a flash the whole day until we got to the reception! And even there, I only needed it about half the time. Oh my goodness, this post is getting long! I have so many favorites!! So happy! Mr. & Mrs.! There's my old roomie, Laura, looking fabulous! The getaway car was awesome... a Mustang GT 5.0! Some laughs during the best man's toast: Congratulations, Leann & Wes! I had a great time with you guys!
