Jaclyn + Matt | December holiday wedding in Effingham

In early December I headed down to Effingham to work as second photographer alongside my good friend Kara Kamienski. This wedding was drop-dead gorgeous from start to finish, and I couldn’t hardly believe the beautiful home and bridal details I was able to start the day with.

Sometimes December brides don’t want their wedding to feel too Christmassy, but Jaclyn + Matt embraced the holiday feel for their special day. There were lots of twinkle lights, evergreens, deep red roses, cranberries, and even some fake snow to really set the mood. The afternoon was very chilly, but the wedding party were real troopers, and I’ve said before and I’ll say it again — winter days are tolerable as long as there is sunshine!

I am so glad Kara asked me along for this one… I love the portraits we created. The combo of green, red, sunshine, and fake snow… I just can’t get enough of it! Don’t miss this one!
