Jackie + Matt | Urbana Country Club navy + orange wedding
Sometimes as a wedding photographer there are days where things don't go as planned, weather doesn't cooperate and you just have to roll with the punches. Saturday was one of those days as it was the coldest day we've had so far this fall with major wind gusts. So we came up with an alternate plan and ended up doing most of Jackie + Matt's photos indoors at the Urbana Country Club and Barrelhouse 34 who graciously opened their business for us a bit early! We still had a blast though, and I am in love with the window light photos we got at the bar! It's fun being a problem solver sometimes!! :) After Barrelhouse, we also hit up Bunny's Tavern, one of Matt's favorite watering holes. Then it was off to the ceremony and back to the country club for the reception. As an Illini fan, I adored their navy and orange theme (though they didn't choose those colors for their Illini or Bears fandom necessarily!) and had fun incorporating the colors into their ring photos and other detail shots. Jackie + Matt, we had a blast with you Saturday and I wish you both many, many years of happiness together! We definitely need to hit up the Barrelhouse again soon!!
