Heidi + Chris planned a beautiful tent wedding reception in her parents' front yard, which was conveniently also just steps away from the church where they were married. I wish I had more photos of the outside of the church and its grounds to show you, but it rained ALL DAY, so we didn't get much outside until later in the afternoon and evening. The reception tent was set up perfectly though, from the table decorations to the chairs to the lighting and of course the food. Melanie and I were in wedding detail heaven! I loved both Heidi + Chris's laidback, go-with-the-flow attitudes though, and took the weather in stride. I'm very excited (and partly relieved!) now that Heidi + Chris have already booked a post-wedding Mr. + Mrs. session with me at Allerton, so we can get some good weather, and nice lighting for some more portraits of the happy couple.
