In early March, I attended the annual Reset Conference in Lexington, Kentucky. As a brand photographer, I jumped at the chance to photograph a type of session I hadn’t done before which was for a fitness trainer.

Janaya did an amazing job modeling for us! She wants to start her own business as a fitness trainer, and to change things up a bit, we also had her do some yoga poses. The space we were in was SO fantastic for brand shooting! Lightbox Lexington is really just that — a white, blank space with tons of natural light that we could make our own. We kept things simple with a yoga mat and some juice props from a local juicery that added a nice pop of color.

The styled brand shoot was organized and led by fellow Champaign photographer Alisa Nicholle in conjunction with The Reset Conference.
