I never quite know what to expect when I haven't met a couple prior to their wedding day. But when I walked up to the "First Look" site where Peter would see Emily in her wedding gown for the first time, everything was as perfect as I could have imagined. Emily hugged me right away and basically told me to "do my thing." :) I set Peter up in a good shady spot and his reaction didn't disappoint! We jumped right into couple portraits and wedding party photos from there, and it was like we had all known each other for ages. Emily's family was so sweet and accommodating to me all day, and made my job a breeze. And speaking of breezes, a few of those would have been nice on that 90+ degree day! Ha! Some of my favorite parts of the day included the couple's dog Malcolm being introduced at the reception party (such a party animal!), the sweet getaway car Emily lined up for after the ceremony, the gorgeous pocket of light we found in a random spot at Lake of the Woods, and the trip to Bacaro to recreate when Peter + Emily's first met.
