Dancing with the CU Stars | Fundraiser for Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club

Late January and February is sort of my "slow season" around here, so I'm taking the time to catch back up on a few blog posts that I had let slide over the past year or so. Today I'm starting off with the Dancing with the CU Stars event that I have photographed a few times. I enjoy seeing the hard work these community members put into their routines, and then the amazing financial support put forth by the guests and local businesses to support the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. Ten local celebrities once again spent weeks practicing their dancing moves for the 4th annual Dancing with the CU Stars gala on November 6 at the Refinery. More than 400 guests attended the event, and following all ten performances, the audience votes for their favorite dancers by donating money to support the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. Each dollar counts as one vote, and at final tally, more than $211,000 had been raised! That is amazing!
