I was so honored to have been asked to photograph Dana + Barry’s wedding day! I have two connections with Dana — she is a sorority sister from 4-H House, and she also works at our veterinarian’s office! When I went to find my seat at dinner, there was a lobster dog toy waiting for me! 🦞 <3

There are a few special moments from their day that stick out to me as favorites — their first look at Rock Springs Nature Center, their getaway in a gold classic car, their wine unity ceremony, and the amazing charcuterie table put together by the matron of honor! Another very special part of the day was that it also happened to be Barry’s parents’ 45th wedding anniversary, so they had their own cake cutting and first dance to celebrate!

I also loved a few of the special touches throughout the day — their beautiful rings and the handmade vintage ring tray that Dana ordered for them; the flat lay elements including greenery and flowers that Dana had the florist save for me; the blue-ish/silver hue to Dana’s gorgeous dress; and Barry’s custom socks with their dog’s face on them; and the cozy lounge area for their guests.

Following dinner, I took the couple out behind the hotel to the pond area for some golden hour portraits and those 10 minutes were SO worth it! Huge congrats to Dana + Barry!! Best wishes for many, many years of happiness!
