Coaching brand session with Heather Wanninger
When life gives you lemons… 🍋 make lemonade! This has long been Heather Wanninger’s motto and she embraces it to the fullest! Heather has been a photographer for many years, and is now branching out into coaching & mentoring, as well as starting a new podcast!
She is one of the hardest working people I know, but at the same time, she knows how to play hard too! I’d have to say one of her other mottos is probably “work hard, play hard” as she is all about self-care and making time for yourself and your family. In fact, at the time of this post, Heather is on an unplugged vacation with her boys, and she didn’t even take her laptop with her (which as she says NEVER happens!).
For Heather’s recent brand session, we leaned into her new coaching branding, which uses a more muted version of her signature yellow, as well as some dusty blues. We had the idea of course to incorporate lemons, and I brought along a glass pitcher I had that worked out perfectly.
Heather needed lots of white background, negative space photos for advertising her coaching brand and for making announcements. The first wall I picked out didn’t work with our session time, so we pivoted and picked another nearby wall that I think worked out even better!
For the second part, I wanted to tie in an office-like setting so we chose a local, bright coffee shop with lots of her favorite office accessories. Heather writes lots of handwritten notes, and also LOVES reading any business book she can get her hands on. Luckily, some of those books had yellow covers — perfect!
Lastly, we hit a nearby parking garage to do a confetti canon to celebrate the launch of her coaching & podcast. I love how this session all came together and you all know I love a good, colorful session!
