Christy + Ryan | Urbana Unitarian Universalist wedding ceremony + reception
Christy + Ryan are a fun-loving couple and I had a wonderful time hanging out with their family + friends throughout their wedding day and reception. Everyone was so kind, easygoing and hospitable to us and made the day flow so smoothly. A few interesting things of note about Christy + Ryan: 1) Christy actually proposed to Ryan, so he was wearing an engagement ring prior to the wedding, and so they had 4 rings to photograph instead of 3! 2) Ryan's stepmom made the cake and cupcakes which were SO delicious and she insisted I take some home, so I did! 3) Christy designed all the printed materials and signs you see in the reception photos. I am a font geek, and the program and menu were just PERFECT. I want her to design my next business cards and logo! A couple of my other favorite parts of the day were the choreographed Thriller dance at the reception by some of Christy's college friends (I believe it was unscripted??), the Italian food from Minneci's for dinner (yum!), the tree planting during their ceremony, and their photo booth room just off the dance floor.
