A couple weeks ago, Christa (@simplysomethingmore) and I were interacting on Instagram when I said I needed to get out to the cherry blossom trees at the Japan House at the University of Illinois. I thought I’d have to drag my kids out there, when Christa said “drag me!” And so this shoot was born!! And this worked out 1000x better than trying to take my kids! LOL

We hit the cherry blossoms on THE best absolute day, despite there being about 500 people there (that is not an exaggeration). Luckily it’s a big park so we could space out when needed, and I was able to crop people out for the most part.

I left the fashion and beauty portion of the shoot up to Christa as she is the expert in that area! She chose 3 outfits, all totally different, but that all complemented the trees so beautifully!

I am SO happy we finally got to collaborate together, and am looking forward to our next shoot together!
