Champaign Commercial Product Photographer

Last week I wrapped up a three-part shoot of a portable humidifier that will soon be available on Amazon. I was excited to try the device while we had it for a few days. I runs on a standard USB2 cord with an AC cube adapter plugged into a standard outlet. And since its USB, it can also run on-the-go in places like your car or office. The lights are really neat too — it has a plain white light that can act as a nightlight, or it has a color changing rainbow light in the second setting. This one made for some really neat photos!

The first part of the shoot was in my tabletop whiteboard setup with Magbox flash and white reflector. Then I switched out the white for black so that I could see the humidifier mist better.

Part two of the shoot was in studio with an office or waiting room type setting. I used minimal furniture and props with clean, white walls to allow the product to take the spotlight. My instructions were to make it look like a natural setting, and I am happy with the way these turned out!

The third part was in my car! The client wanted to show the portability of the device, and the fact that it can run on USB power. It fit perfectly in my cup holder, and started working right away once I plugged it in and turned it on.
