Cara & Josh were married on Saturday, May 8 at University Place Christian Church near the University of Illinois campus, followed by the reception at The Refinery. The weather called for rain, but all we had to deal with was some chilly temps and wind. The sun even poked its head out a couple times! It was my first official wedding at both venues, so I was excited to check out both. So while Cara & Josh are off on their honeymoon, here are several of my favorites from the day. Cara made these cards to use for their thank-you notes. This is a great idea for save-the-date cards too! The cake was delicious, and was not used nicely after the cake cutting! The teal frosting ended up Josh's shirt & glasses, Cara's face & arm... we're just lucky it didn't end up on her dress!
