Business and political headshot photographs | Holly Birch Photography

Last week was a busy one!  I started out by teaching fellow photographer Katie Knapp, the Ag Photographer, about flash, followed by a trip out to Lake of the Woods in Mahomet for some new business headshots for her website and Facebook page.

Then on Tuesday I went to the Farm Progress Show with my dad Jeff, my grandpa Russell (aka Pappy), and my dad's hired man Mark.  It was a fun day with GREAT weather, and I can't wait to go back again in 2 years!

Wednesday evening I photographed the Jones family, the head of which is Allen Jones who is running for Champaign County Sheriff.  We also did some photos of Allen interacting with some voters, followed by some headshots in downtown Champaign. 

Thursday morning I ventured over to Urbana to watch my friend (and 2016 groom) Matt Grandone announce his candidacy for Champaign County Clerk.  It was a neat experience to watch him make the announcement from the steps of his childhood home where his parents still reside.  Following the announcement, I snapped a couple photos of Matt + Jackie's family, and then a couple quick headshots of Matt too.
