I first met Anshu earlier this year when she came to me for a headshot. As we parted ways, she asked about my courthouse weddings, and in particular about Monday courthouse weddings.

Fast forward a few months to Anshu + Bijal’s wedding day! We met up at the courthouse where the couple had invited their families and some of their closest friends. Judge Dyer performed the ceremony, and then we headed back outside for some portraits of the couple outside the beautiful courthouse building.

Anshu + Bijal asked if we could also make a stop at the Japan House, which worked perfectly as it was on the way to the IHotel from Urbana. Following portraits there, we headed on to the hotel where their guests were ready to celebrate. Each guest was given a rose by Anshu’s nieces, and then as they sat down to lunch, some lovely toasts were shared for the couple. We wrapped up with the couple cutting the cake! Congrats, Anshu + Bijal! I loved spending a couple hours with you on your wedding day!
