Anesthesia Diva | Personal Brand Photography Session

Ashley is a long-time client of mine. I did headshots for her a few years back and then this summer she contacted me about a brand session for her new business launch! Meet the Anesthesia Diva! Ashley’s tagline is “Education in the Ether,” which doesn’t really mean much to me, but for people in the veterinary medicine industry, it means a whole lot!

Ashley aims to make learning anesthesia fun, not freaky! She helps train new nurses on how to safely monitor and anesthetize veterinary patients. She offers in-person consulting services and online courses geared toward small animal veterinary practices.

We started out her session in a rented studio to really hone in on her fun brand colors and some of her tools of the trade. I really love Ashley’s custom logo and her super unique brand colors — maroon and hot pink! She also brought a long several fun props that came in handy — pink stethoscope, logo mug, textbooks, maroon scrubs, and her favorite tee — the hot pink one that says “Coffee & Anesthesiology” which I’m sure are both key components of her life!

For the middle part of the session, we went around downtown Champaign a bit to one of my favorite walls, the silver diamond on you see below, and then I had the idea to put her pink t-shirt in front of a red wall for another punch of that fun color combo.

We ended the session in Ashley’s backyard, where I got to meet her new puppy, Michael!
