Amanda + Jason | The Links at Carillon Plainfield wedding
It was so great to hang out with Amanda's family again, since I did her sister Shannon's (+ Brandon) wedding about a year and a half ago. I need to reiterate here that I LOVE, LOVE LOVE photographing the weddings of siblings of past clients. It's like I'm part of the family already and makes things go so smoothly. If you've checked out my Facebook page too, you'll see an early part of the day where I was given the job of cleaning nail polish off a few of Amanda's toes that had gotten smudged... I will do (almost) anything for my brides! If THAT doesn't prove it, I don't know what will!! :) Amanda was a stunning bride, and Jason looked extra-handsome in his gray tux. Their wedding party was a fun group, willing to do whatever we asked and having a great time throughout the day. Toward the end of the night, my assistant Emily and I started keeping an eye on the rain as we'd envisioned doing a rain image with flash. Once it started sprinkling pretty good, we ran out for a quick test shot, and then decided we needed to get Jason + Amanda outside NOW. So we grabbed them and got the two rain images you'll see below. Who says rain on you wedding day is a bad thing?? Or ironic, if you're Alanis Morrisette, #amiright? LOL ;)
