Last week I finally got in a quick photoshoot with Maximus for his 2-month photos. He did a very good job cooperating with Mommy for the session! I was also able to quickly put together this little accordion wallet design and my lab printed and shipped it to me in just 2 days! I got 3 copies–one for Aaron & me, and one for each of our moms. Don’t worry, Mom–you’ll get yours on Sunday. I love this booklet too because it matches his birth announcement design. I think we may carry the theme through until at least his 1st birthday because it’s so cute and of course is orange and blue.

My 3rd & 4th quarter pricing for the 2011 and 2012 wedding seasons will be released this Thursday, July 1. Please get any outstanding contracts to me by then to lock in the current pricing. I’ve added a NEW 4th package to the mix that will be the “everything but the kitchen sink” photography package that you won’t want to miss!

Also, I recently contacted all my current clients to let them know that I can now process credit card payments over the phone. You can also still pay by check or cash as well. I’m trying to phase out my use of Paypal for business transactions, and you can read some of the reasons why on the Cowbelly Pet Photography blog. If you have a few minutes, please go read why some of Paypal’s practices are not fair to service-oriented businesses like mine! Fortunately, I haven’t had this happen to me yet, but I can see how easily it can happen.

I thought it was interesting that in a span of less than two weeks I was privileged to photograph both ends of the Ford spectrum. Here are a few of those images from Leann & Wes’s wedding and Katie and TJ’s engagement session. Does thinking this is really cool make me a huge dork or what?

The R family ordered both a metal print and 2 canvases following their family session. I love ordering new and big stuff, so this order was a lot of fun for me to tackle.

One of my clients asked today to see a sample of a metal print and I realized I’d never blogged about the license plate I ordered a couple months back. This is a great idea for both teenagers and seniors. There are other sizes of metal prints as well, other than the license plate. This size and the 4×6 are $30 and the sizes go all the way up to 10×20″! Other options available are rounded corners, hanging hardware and drill holes.

We got our new photos and canvas ordered, delivered and hung this week. The middle print is a 20″x30″ canvas and the two side images are 11×14″ prints in dark brown wooden frames. I’m thinking of getting a couple of sconces for either side too. What do you think?

I ordered a few new things this month for my clients at Holly Birch Photography. The above picture is of the mini album for wallets. It’s peel and stick, but isn’t it so cute? It’s for the standard 2×3.5 wallet photos. So now for wallets I have three options: loose wallets (sheet) wallet album or accordion wallets!
So far I’ve just been using the little paper CD sleeves for my CD and DVD sales (which there are a lot of!). But NOW, I have these fancy new cases in 3 different styles/colors (black leather-look; green & brown cardboard).
