Mindi told me at her wedding a couple weeks ago that I need to stop posting pictures of my garden because hers is ridden with weeds and it makes her sad. Well, she’s flying home from her honeymoon now, so hopefully she won’t see this! Oh, and this photo is straight out of the camera…

We made stir fry tonight with our first garden pepper. I made Aaron pose with it and then he took a pic of me too. He’s making a dorky face and I wasn’t wearing any makeup so that’s why we’re both out of focus! Plus this post is all about the peppers, anyway!
I’m actually growing vegetables this year! And despite the poor choice of planting location and the REALLY poor soil we planted them in, they seem to be doing well. They do get lots of sun and the rain here every other day seems to be good for them. Tomatos: Green peppers:

Mindi - Brat! Mom and Dad mowed my yard b/4 I got home and weeded down all my dead veggies. Mom said they were all dead from not getting enough sun b/c the weeds were taller than the veggies. LOL
