Mindi told me at her wedding a couple weeks ago that I need to stop posting pictures of my garden because hers is ridden with weeds and it makes her sad. Well, she’s flying home from her honeymoon now, so hopefully she won’t see this! 
Oh, and this photo is straight out of the camera (SOOC) except for the watermark.
We made stir fry tonight with our first garden pepper. I made Aaron pose with it and then he took a pic of me too. He’s making a dorky face and I wasn’t wearing any makeup so that’s why we’re both out of focus! Plus this post is all about the peppers, anyway!

I’m actually growing vegetables this year! And despite the poor choice of planting location and the REALLY poor soil we planted them in, they seem to be doing well. They do get lots of sun and the rain here every other day seems to be good for them.

At least, depending on the day. Because one day it’s freezing and rainy, and then the next it’s sunny with blue skies and hotter than blazes. Or sometimes that all happens in the same day!!

You can’t see it in the picture, but he climbed into the pool with his shoes and all his clothes on before Stephanie and I could stop him. She referred to him as “Soggy Bottom Boy” for the rest of the evening.

This is my last day in the office this week as Thursday-Sunday I will be in Vegas with my girlfriends from college! I can’t believe how well this plan has come together–we have 12 out of the 19 girls in my sorority pledge class making the trip to the desert together! I am planning on taking A LOT of photos, so be prepared for a whole slew of them when I get back! I will have my phone, but limited access to email, but contact me as necessary and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
Also, I FINALLY got around to updating my samples pages. They’re not perfect yet, but at least the samples are much more current now! I am going to try to be better about regularly updating the samples pages too for future clients.

And, Illini spring football started yesterday, so I made it out there for the short half hour they give me to shoot. My main priority is creating thumbnails for InsideIllini.com, but some posters have also asked if I can post full photos for them to see how the players are progressing.
My new goal for 2009 is to not make any posts without photos, so here’s my most popular football photo (according to Flickr!):
Mindi: Brat! Mom and Dad mowed my yard b/4 I got home and weeded down all my dead veggies. Mom said they were all dead from not getting enough sun b/c the weeds were taller than the veggies. LOL :) Next year!
