This was some sort of fake play, but I can’t remember exactly what happened! Anyway, the kicker (#84 Eller) was supposed to be in focus, but instead you see #36 Jared Bosch in focus as he’s running to block for the fake.

Now on to basketball. This was the first game I was able to shoot for Scout.com this year. The Illini took on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the first regular game of the season.

HBP got a piece of great news this morning when I found out that I am now the sole basketball shooter for InsideIllini.com. This is in addition to the football shooting I already do for them and it tells me that I’m doing a great job!

This was my first time ever covering a media day. I was anxious about it because I didn’t know what to expect, but it was really laid-back and the players were in good spirits. Here are just a couple (and these are mostly for my grandma… not gonna lie!):

Jon contacted me to photograph his new venture–tailgate trailers. This thing is pretty cool with built-in breaker box, flat-panel TV, keg tapper, toilet, sink, sound system, grill and satellite dish. I hope he does well with this new product! I know I haven’t seen too many setups like this around Memorial Stadium.

I’ve taken advantage of the winter photography lull to book some more weddings and to search for houses! Hopefully before wedding season starts up in May, I will be moved into my new house and have all the painting/repairs done!
