Yearly Archives: 2010

Autumn + Josh met us in downtown Champaign on a blustery November day for some engagement photos. I had Misty + Melissa from Hart + Hill Photography along for the ride so they could get a behind-the-scenes look at Holly Birch Photography. I hope everyone had a good time! Autumn + Josh’s wedding is next June, and after this session and getting to know them a little better, I’m really looking forward to it! And Josh, I’m sorry I made you miss the first half of the football game. Hey, at least the good guys won though, right? Go Illini!

A happy + somewhat accident:

I’ve been drooling over this orange wall for a while now.

I can see this vine-claden wall from the front window of my downtown Urbana studio! It’s on the north side of the Urbana Free Library. ![]()

These two dogs are so gorgeous and posed so well for me that I thought they deserved their own post! Plus, I wouldn’t mind doing a little more pet photography here and there.
I mean, how can you resist the sweet faces of these two pups, especially with Twiggy’s mismatched beautiful eyes (above)?

I just have to post this one again because it showcases both dogs and I love the way it turned out:

And of course my absolute favorite of their family!

Jessica + Dan met me on a windy but not too chilly day in November to squeeze in their engagement photo session before Christmas. They’re getting married in February… just around the corner! I was incredibly excited that they brought along their two best friends–Australian Shepherds Twiggy and Deacon. The dogs were very well behaved considering all that we asked them to do and all the squirrels that were at West Side Park that day! There’s a separate post about these two gorgeous canines coming up next… stay tuned!

A favorite:

Thanks also to Jessica + Dan’s friend Julia for coming along to be the dog handler. She did a great job of getting the dogs’ attention and handing out treats!
